Hard Work Is Well Worth It (01/22/2014)

01/16/2014 -
Hey Mom, Hello Again - This letter was started a week ago, but I only got 3 sentences completed. I got a bit side-tracked doing mission stuff, so I didn't get your letter fully written. Now I will finally finish it :)
<insert 'Mom' comment here....lol...side-tracked?? silly girl...mission stuff isn't the side-track, it is the priority. I'm sure she knows this, but doesn't always use the right words :) >
It is now January 20th, Monday/P-Day, 8:04pm my time, so you are very much giving your eyelids a rest right now. I am currently on my bed, comfortably in cozy pjs trying to write what my brain is thinking into the correct words. Hmmmmm....'words' that reminds me of a comment you made on Facebook. It was about my way with words, referring to the popping of bubbles. Well, atleast you can see I still have my personality :) But really, members need to get more friends outside of church, so they can help us find people to teach. Pop that bubble! Parents need to meet their kids' friends and the parents of their kids' friends. Tell them about us (missionaries) and introduce us :) New York is different than Oregon (because there are fewer members) in that category where most of our friends aren't in church, only the exceptionally close friends are :)

We all have hard things in our lives and sometimes it seems we are at the end of our rope. We use all the strength we've got in us and still it seems we are going nowhere. But we must remember, we are not alone. We have used all of our strength but with the help of our Father in Heaven we become exponentially stronger and are able to work through our hard times. When we have Heavenly Father on our side there is nothing we can't accomplish through hard work.

What would you do if you knew you could not fail?

2 Nephi 31:5 "And now, if the Lamb of God, he being holy, should have need to be baptized by water, to fulfil all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be baptized, yea, even by water!"
